During the Annual Learning and Teaching Conference, colleagues from the SenSEI SoTL group are running an information stall. Come along if you can and have a chat. First Hand-Out: Start with Basics

This hand-out provides you with prompts for reflecting about your teaching. There are various models for reflective writing out there. This hand-out is based on Rolfe’s model of reflection asking all but three questions: What? So What? and Now What? This is extended with prompts focussing on teaching situations.

The SoTL Cheat Sheet

While the both points “Scholarship” and “SoTL” are technically both SoTL, differentiating between traditional scholarship and SoTL might be useful. This hand-out is a super simplified cheat-sheet to get your terminology right.

Plan your SoTL Journey

These two templates aim to help you approach SoTL from a career planning viewpoint, the first one is for colleagues who are completely new to SoTL the second one is for more experienced colleagues or colleagues with education or cognate background for whom much of the basics are familiar.

Roll up your Sleeves

This hand-out helps you plan your SoTL educational inquiries. We need to make sure that methodology and methods are succinct and well justified. The handout aims to help you through this process.
